Terms of Service
Effective date: October 23, 2026
These terms apply when you use Chitti AI Assistant: the website at staging.chitti-ai-assistant.com, the Chitti AI Assistant desktop app and our AI service. By creating an account or using Chitti AI Assistant you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which says what we collect and how long we keep it.
1. The service
Chitti AI Assistant is an interview assistant. The desktop app can listen to a conversation when you turn listening on, turn speech into text, and suggest answers written by AI from your question, your screenshots and the resume, job description, instructions and documents you give it. The website is where you manage your account, your plan and payments, see your sessions and download the app.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Chitti AI Assistant. When you sign up you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.
- You need an account, with an email address you have confirmed, or Sign in with Google. An account whose email is not confirmed within 48 hours is deleted.
- Keep your password and your computer's sign-in safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- We may close sign-ups at times, for example when we reach the number of accounts we can serve.
3. Using Chitti AI Assistant responsibly
- You are responsible for using Chitti AI Assistant in line with the rules of the interviewers, employers, schools, platforms and anyone else you deal with, and with the law where you and they are.
- The app turns other people's speech into text and, by default, saves the conversation. Make sure the people you talk to agree where that is needed, and that recording or transcribing them is allowed. You can switch saving off in the app's Response Settings.
- Do not try to get around the service's limits (minutes, spending limits, rate limits), use another person's account, interfere with or overload the service, or use our AI service other than through the Chitti AI Assistant app.
4. Free use, plans and minutes
- Demo sessions are free: without a plan you can use them for 5 minutes, and the same time comes back 60 minutes after it is used up. With a plan, demo sessions do not use your minutes.
- Mock interviews (practice with the app's AI interviewer) need a paid plan. They run as demo sessions, so they do not use your minutes, and nothing of them is saved.
- Interview sessions need a paid plan with minutes left. Time is measured by our server and charged by the started minute. When your minutes run out, the session ends.
- Every paid period resets your minutes to the plan's allowance; unused minutes do not carry over. A yearly plan gives twelve months' minutes at the start of the year.
- AI use is also subject to daily spending limits per account and monthly limits for the whole service. When a limit is reached, answers and transcription pause until it resets. Feedback on a session needs enough of your own words to be given.

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added where it applies, worked out from your billing address.
5. Payments, renewal and discounts
- Payments are taken by Stripe. A plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and is charged to the card you paid with, until you turn renewal off or cancel on the Credits & Billing page.
- When you cancel or turn renewal off, renewal stops: your plan and its minutes last until the end of the period you have paid for, and then end. You are not charged again.
- If you change plan, moving up adds the extra minutes straight away; moving down limits your minutes to the smaller plan's allowance.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again for a while. If it still fails, the plan ends and its minutes with it.
- A payment can take one discount: a discount code, or, if you signed up through a subscriber's invite link, 5% off your first payment. If both apply, the bigger one is used. Only people with a plan can invite others.
- Refunds. We do not give refunds, including for unused minutes or the rest of a period after you cancel, except where the law requires one. Our Refund Policy explains this in full. If you think you were charged by mistake, email support@chitti-ai-assistant.com.
6. AI answers and feedback
- Answers, transcripts and feedback are produced by AI (OpenAI's models). They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and transcription can mishear. Check them before you rely on them.
- Feedback scores are the AI's opinion of a conversation, not an assessment by a person, and say nothing certain about the outcome of any interview.
- We do not promise any result from using Chitti AI Assistant.
7. Your content and your data
What you give Chitti AI Assistant (your resume, documents, questions and conversations) stays yours. You allow us to process it only to run the service for you: to send it to OpenAI for answers, transcription and feedback, and to keep what the Privacy Policy describes.
Conversations are saved by default. Every session in the desktop app saves its conversation as text, never audio, on your account, except mock interviews, which are never saved. It is deleted automatically after 3 days, and you can delete it sooner. You can switch saving off at any time in the app's Response Settings. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
8. Availability and changes to the service
Chitti AI Assistant is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be slow, interrupted or unavailable, and we may change, add or remove features. The desktop app checks for new versions and installs one only after you agree.
9. Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on AI answers, transcripts or feedback, from the service being unavailable, or from using Chitti AI Assistant against the rules that apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
10. Ending
- You can stop using Chitti AI Assistant at any time. Cancel your plan on the Credits & Billing page, or delete your
account yourself in Settings > Your data > Delete account. Deleting it cancels any plan
straight away, without a refund for the rest of the period, signs out the desktop app, and deletes your personal
data, except what the Privacy Policy lists as kept:
- The payment and invoice records (plan, amount, tax, currency, status, dates, card brand and last four digits, and Stripe's references), for our accounts and as tax and accounting rules require. They are no longer linked to an account. Stripe keeps its own record of your payments under its own policy.
- The AI usage figures (model, tokens, seconds of audio, time taken, cost; never any words), no longer linked to an account, because they count toward our overall spending limits.
- The site administration's history of changes our staff made to your account, with your email address replaced by "Deleted user" and the account's number.
- The desktop app's revoked sign-in tokens, until they expire (at most 7 days). They hold only a random account number that no longer belongs to anyone, and their dates.
- Our server logs, which name an account by its number (and, for sign-ins, a partly masked email address) and hold IP addresses, until newer logs replace them.
- Copies in our database backups, until those backups are removed (14 days).
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses the service.
11. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using Chitti AI Assistant after that date, the new terms apply.
